Pretty good movie about prisoners who question God's decision's throughout the entire bible and wonder why God lets innocent people die.

I think everyone has asked themselves at one point or another, a number of the questions raised in this movie. Bravo! Finally something that peoples questioning minds can relate to regardless of right / wrong or particular backgrounds. I commend the attempt to lubricate the what and why we believe; with logic. I want more of this type of movie.

A very thought provoking and engaging movie.

Not really sure what to make of this... the story is based on a book, which is based on an event from another book, which is allegedly spurious??? I'll probably have to watch it again to make my mind up whether i like it or not. As an atheist the idea seems ludicrous but it does offer a number of varying perspectives and ponders a number of questions that are quite interesting. Good cast, pretty good acting, not bad production... but the flashback felt forced and not at all natural? This is a thinker not a feeler, so don't expect Schindlers list, but is worth a watch.

Questions about God by ppl held prison in Auschwitz. Good perfomance by those actors, but a little to theatrical and slow paced for me. You need to have background info how bad Auschwitz realy was because this movie does not dig much into this peoples situation so you can fully understand how they must have been having it in Auschwitz.
