Goats (2012)

Having a self-absorbed New Age mother and an estranged father has meant 15-year-old Ellis Whitman has grown up relying on an unconventional guardian: a goat-trekking, marijuana-growing sage called 'Goat Man'. A capable cast can't elevate this mediocre coming-of-age comedy.

Though disjointed, it has heart. Definitely recommend.

A good cast playing some delightfully eccentric characters elevates this offbeat comedy/drama about a boy caught between two divorced and self-absorbed parents. The story doesn't go far but, the cast are a delight to watch.

Despite the ever-escalating cost of private education, there are still some who feel that there's no character more empathetic than a boarding school lad.

Great movie! Did people not like it because of the pot??? Great characters, plot and all.
