Nice look at the cult phenomenon, almost makes you want to go out and track down old tapes.

A really touching story of women coming together and bonding on the stage, albeit with a rather unique and off-colour circumstance. Novel view into Vegas shows, women's movements of the late 80s, and stardom short-lived.

I fell in love with the comedy series on Netflix, and a friend suggested this documentary on the original wrestling ladies of GLOW. Had no idea it was based on truth. Fantastic strong colourful women. Sad to see how the cancellation affected the main star, but interesting hearing from their mouths what really went on and just how true the show has remained.

Compelling look back at the 80s phenomenon known as G.L.O.W - The Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. Tons of interviews with the female trailblazers, plenty of nostalgic clips, and some real touching moments at a reunion decades later. Enjoyed this far more than originally anticipated. It's a shame two of the key male components refused to be interviewed for the doc. Their loss. ****/5
