this is very difficult. there's a lot of interesting stuff in this "documentary." but sadly, it's near impossible to look past the smugness of david stenn who really loves being in front of the camera. i recommend it, but it's not well made.

david stenn creates a labor of love in searching for the truth about 'girl 27' and doggedly pursuing pat douglas. it once again affirms to me how grateful i am to grow up in our times today...back then women had it really hard!

It starts off slow but snowballs into a devastating portrayal of rape and it's after effects, all the way down to the grandkids. Sheds some light into Hollywood in the 30's with archive footage that suddenly doesn't seem so dated any more. See it!
