A worthy tribute to one of the most important people of the 20th century, Ben Kingsley leads an amazing cast through this epic journey of freedom, while conveying the humble nature of Gandhi's struggle.

Among biographies, the most compelling life-story I have ever seen. Not my favorite movie, but outstanding.

One of the best biography epics ever made, and it is about truly one of the greatest people to have ever walked the earth in all of human history in Mahatma Gandhi. A perfectly casted and executed movie that tries in passionate earnest to respect the source material and facts about Gandhi rising from a humble lawyer, to a leader that freed India from its colonial stranglehold.

Alternately shocking and inspirational, this film shows just how much one very small man can do when he decides to take a stand for something. His remarkabke influence is very well portrayed in this sad bu beautiful film.
