Old skool Kung Fu masters with old boy sentimental collaborated with modern hip-hopers & young team that produce this sincere and heartwarming comedy.

The film certainly looks the part of an Old school Kung fu flick. But the pacing plods, the quantity of fight scenes is simply not enough and almost zero athleticism on display which is 99% of what martial arts films are. I wanted to like but too much fake fu.

Very difficult to watch this sort of old-style HK film with fun.... This one is quite funny....

Overall it's not bad, but not quite good enough and a bit overrated. In my own view, I think it can be even better, and both directors(esp. Derek Kwok) should be more improvement for their directing skills.
