one of the only older movies i can stand watching. the little boy is hilarious.

Didn't think I'd like a almost two and a half hour movie about Quakers but I did. The cast is pretty great, some genuinely funny scenes and the usual sad spots as well, it pretty much flies by rather quickly.

wilder's "friendly persuasion" casually blends comedy with it's drama, and led by fine performances from it's entire cast, this film is highly entertaining all through out it's lengthy running time.
