Friday Foster (1975)

Friday Foster, a magazine photographer, goes to Los Angeles International airport to photograph the arrival of Blake Tarr, the richest black man in America. Three men attempt to assassinate Tarr. Foster photographs the melee and is plunged into a web of conspiracy involving the murder of her childhood friend, a US senator, and a shadowy plan called "Black Widow".

Pam Grier plays an ex-model turned photographer who gets caught up in a conspiracy when she witness an attempted assassination of the richest black man in America. Yaphet Kotto, Godfrey Cambridge, Eartha Kitt, Jim Backus, Scatman Crothers, Carl Weathers, and your bartender Ted Lange, also appear in the film.

Friday Foster is an excellent film. It is about Friday Foster goes to Los Angeles International airport to photograph the arrival of Blake Tarr. Pam Grier and Eartha Kitt give fantastic performances. The screenplay is well written. Arthur Marks did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this motion picture because of the action and drama.

I didn't enjoy this as much as I have other Pam Grier flicks due to what I'd describe as an even more muddled plot that you normally find in Blaxploitation films, but it's worth a look at least once. Rental.

good times. Yaphet Kotto, Pam Grier, Carl Weathers...what a cast. it's misogynistic, ludicrous, and stereotypical. and fun. did I mention fun? I hope so. it's fun.
