Featuring endless scenes of multitudes of women baring their breasts in public in various areas of New York City, Free the Nipple is an unfortunately tone-deaf and poorly executed drama that doesn't exactly help its cause championed by the celebrity likes of Miley Cyrus and Lena Dunham.

Powerful, witty, and above all else, original in its message and delivery. A very nice inspiring break from the usual Hollywood recycled action-thrillers. This movie is rock n roll.

I wanted a documentary but this felt whiney at times. Also it felt dumb going back and forth blurring and not blurring nipples. This movie was supposed to fight censorship but then censors itself? Poor choices were made.

Yes, breasts are a beautiful, natural, baby-nourishing thing, and they've been bizarrely shamed and oversexualized in American culture-but writer-director Lina Esco's amateurish debut is not the film to set them free.
