Whether you care about climbing or not, you’ll appreciate this tale of passion, discipline and, ultimately, transcendence. One incredible climb for one athlete, one quantum leap for mankind.

Literally the best film I have ever seen!!!! In-depth and passionate look at one of the more interesting characters ALex Honnold in outdoor sports. This film transcends sport documentary and examines a human life. One that searches for greatness while embracing personal flaws. Easily relatable, anyone who strives for perfection in their craft will see themselves here. Must see drama, human interest beautifully filmed. Must be seen on the big screen for full affect.

Hardest thing to do is make a movie where the audience knows the ending when they walk in. Free Solo is a masterful blend of character and white knuckle suspense.

Ultimate triumph of human spirit. When a single mistake means certain death, when all the odds are against you, only a generational drive can make you attempt such a feat. A feat that no man past or present even dare to think, a hand few might posses the skills to attempt sections of it, only one can do it start to finish - to perfection. This advances the frontier of what humans can do. An inspirational documentary like none other.
