A young man, in love with a woman who can never be his, discovers a way to fulfil his dreams. In their childhood the three were the best of friends, the perfect triangle. But years later when Lena returns to her sleepy home the tone of the relationship changes and it is Robin she loves. In a way, this is something of a precursor to The Fly (which was made 6 years later) - except this one involves experiments in molecular-duplication rather than in molecular-transportation. It's an early Hammer production and is very, very British. Overlooked and recommended.

This is a pretty well made film. It involves human cloning, which must have been far ahead of it's time in 1953. It drags at parts, but over all a very entertaining film

Essentially an OK little science-fiction opus that is more interesting in terms of what it portends than for what it actually accomplishes.
