A mysterious door in the basement of the Hercules house leads to the Sixth Dimension by way of a gigantic set of intestine. When Frenchy slips through the door, King Fausto falls in love with her. The jealous Queen Doris takes Frenchy prisoner, and it is up to the Hercules family and friend Squeezit Henderson to rescue her.

If you don't like this film, you cannot possibly genuinely like me as a person. This film fulfills every obligation a real artist should set out for his/herself. Possibly the most original film I have ever seen - so darn freaky that it's exciting that it ever managed to get made. Inspired musical madness. I had to go to hospital after watching this because my sides split wide open in the exquisite pain of mirth.

When my friend asked me what this movie was about, i replied "You can't ask that. The only question you can ask about this movie is 'What the fuck?' and there is no answer." I stand by that. This movie is an acid trip minus the colors. It is a pure work of art, and 'Squeezit the Moocher' remains one of my all time favorite scenes of any movie. Side note: The night Lindsay and I went to see a midnight showing of this in san franciso and met Richard Elfman afterwards was, without competition, the greatest night of my life.

I'm glad Danny Elfman was not popular by this point, as any increase of budget for this B-Movie musical would only ruin it's purity and incoherance.

One of the most bizarre films out there...and so fucking good! It will kick the shit out of 'Rocky Horror' any day.
