For Ever Mozart's wryly postmodern take on art vs. reality struck even some longtime Godard defenders as unconscionable at worst, tedious at best.

I have to say that I see Godard's work as a group of technical experiments in cinema. Some work and some do not, but as a filmmaker you can always take away something.

Another Godard-to-follow but extremely rewarding, occasionally disturbing French talkie, with many philosophical and humorous insights into What Cinema Is vs. What it Ought to Be. Best of all, Ashton Kutcher isn't in it!
