It's atmospheric, and all the music is lovely, but unfortunately nostalgia can only do so much of the heavy lifting.

This movie really surprised and touched me. There were deep and wonderful performances. I discovered that I love early jazz and want to hear more. I loved the singer, Ava's performance and I felt that the actor who played the young piano player was fantastic, Very well done and an excellent movie altogether. Wish there had been more!
