Five Across the Eyes (2006)

On their way home from a high school football game, five teenage girls become hopelessly lost. When they stop to get directions at a desolate store, the girls are involved in a minor fender bender which leaves an unattended SUV one headlight short. Inexperienced and frightened that they'll get into trouble, the girls flee the scene of the accident and speed away down the dark and unfamiliar roads. As they blindly make their way across an area the locals call THE EYES, the girls are suddenly shocked to see one lone headlight appear behind them. As the driver of the damaged SUV begins one terrifying assault after another, the five girls will lose their innocence and possibly their lives in this brutal and shocking thrill ride.

A good film (potentially), but marred by its poor budget, and lousy directing that can't mask the budget. Memo for the future - if you're going for a camcorder style film, its probably best to have the camcorder operator as part of the story (eg Blair Witch, blah blah blah), because otherwise, you just get stuck with poor cinematography and sound which can't be justified to the audience and get real old real fast... Nice idea, though.

I want to preface this by saying you probably won't like this movie. You'll either buy into the concept or you won't. Additionally you'll probably hate the girls, which is why this movie is secretly genius. Some have made the accusation that the acting in this film is poor and that is the furthest from the truth. 15 year old small town girls in trouble (or in general) act EXACTLY like this: annoying, over-dramatic, self-involved, and completely ineffective in a crisis situation. That's why I had to promise my doctor, my rabbi, and the local authorities that i would stop dating teenagers. And I'm not even Jewish. Now that's serious. But I digress. Get a group of friends together and give this flick a shot.

This is really bad. The only thing notable about the movie is that the assailant is a psycho woman instead of a man. The shrieks got old after a minute or two, but continue for the whole movie.

just kill them allready, 5 annoying american spoilt teens crying throughout, terrible low budget effort, no style, terrible dialogue, just plain bad, you are not the blair witch project, so stop
