Ma parole c'est nul !!! sur imdb il est dit que le réalisateur voulait se démarquer du slasher habituel, avec une histoire totalement conne, une intrigue qui traîne en longueur, son tueur au charisme inexistant, le réalisateur a fait mieux que se démarquer, il a carrément oublié de faire un slasher !!!!

with its poignant soundtrack and 80s feel- how could you NOT like final exam? Lanier College i must admit has a few issues... and a serial killer on their hands!

If Final Exam fell into any other genre, Huston's character work would be insultingly broad and inadequate, but it's rare to see a horror film devote so much time to humanizing the meatsacks.

[Blu-ray Review] The narrative is by no means free and clear of clichés, but it becomes exceedingly obvious all the same that an attempt was made to separate it from the glut of similar body-count fare inundating the marketplace at the time.

A movie that stands as a horrifically boring attempt to add 'new' flavor to the slasher genre, never fully committing and never providing interesting characters, though provides some of the fun kills the slasher genre has always won at.
