Some quasi homo-erotic moments among fraternity bros and the initiation process; The murders are robotic and janky. The killers motives are never revealed, and his ability to catch an arrow fired at him out of mid-air, only to later meet his demise via rotted wood makes for some ridiculous moments. Overall, the effects are quite awful, taking away from any potency the kills may have had.

Not many murders through most of this slasher, but interesting characters at a fun 80s college make it worth watching. The killer is very much a maskless Micheal Myers rip off complete with a bootleg John Carpenter theme jingle.

A killer stalks a high school. And thats the plot. This is a cookie cutter slasher film. The only interesting thing about this movie is it's historical value as an atypical sub-genre piece. You get to see the sheer rubbish that was made to generate ticket sales and box office. Movies with no artistic merit or intelligence such as this were shot quickly in the wake of John Carpenter's Halloween. You could watch this to try and spot whats been stolen from other films. But don't watch for it's entertainment value as there is none. Theres also a scene where a masked gang mows down fellow students that feels massively inappropriate and just plain tasteless. In the words of Simon Cowell this is 'distinctly average'. If you have masochistic tendencies and feel a need to watch this then please watch the excellent Good Bad Flicks video on YouTube which goes into the chaotic and shambolic production of this folly. Avoid.

Boring, Pointless, along with alot of unanswered questions. Why was the killer there, what was his motive, and what exactly what the point of the entire movie?

with its poignant soundtrack and 80s feel- how could you NOT like final exam? Lanier College i must admit has a few issues... and a serial killer on their hands!
