Hobbs & Shaw Movie is Explosive entertainment!! It is Fun time! A lot of actions and thrills!!! Both Jason Statham & Dwayne rocked ; crazy chemistry between them!Vanessa Kirby did well too!! Hobbs and Shaw is a fun, funny, buddy cop movie. Its not as good the BIG Fast and Furious movies but I'm really happy that it exist. This movie looks like its setting up Fast and Furious 9 so its nice to have a small-ish movie before we get the big team up movie with Fast and Furious 9 and 10.

Hobbs and Shaw is a dumb, but fun action movie. Not everything works. Some of the jokes don't land. Some of the action does look corny. In spite of the flaws, its a good popcorn movie to turn your brain off to. I enjoyed the performances of Jason Statham, Dwayne Johnson, and Idris Elba, but Vanessa Kirby really stood out a cut above the rest of the cast. If you're a die hard Fast and Furious fan, you will like this movie.

I've avoided F&Fs like the plague as I can't bear Vin Diesel in any shape or form. But I really like Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham so I went along to check it out. I wasn't disappointed. The Rock is just naturally likeable in everything he does and Jason is an excellent counterpart. Superbly produced high octane fun with outstanding action stunts and locations.

The movie is worth seeing for 3 things only: the great chemistry between the two leads (and the super-fun dialog they read); Vanessa Kirby, who is amazing in her part - have we seen her before? ; and 2 extremely funny cameos by actors who cannot be named lest I spoil the movie. Idris Elba is essentially wasted - he's robotic and boring. The action sequences are decent, but largely ridiculous. So if you're up for the leads, you won't have a bad time. Just don't expect a great story like the one in Fast 5.
