Excessive Force (1993)

Chicago policeman Terry McCain is determined to put away mobster Sal DiMarco, who always gets acquitted on technicalities. While monitoring a drug sale, a shootout ensues, and one of Terry's fellow officers gets away with $3 million of Sal's money. Suspecting Terry took the cash, the mobster sends his men to kill Terry's brother, Dylan, and partner, Frankie Hawkins. Furious, Terry sets out to take his revenge by any means necessary.

A movie so bad that the cast looks embarrised especially (James Earl Jones and Burt Young) Lance Henriksen is the only spark that keeps it above the 1/5 and even his presence can't make up for this bad movie Thomas Ian Griffith is bad no he's so bad that he makes Steven Seagal look like Al Pacino , Van Damme like Robert De Niro and Dolph Lundgren look like Marlon Brando, but Griffith's Problem is that he's too weak Plot Summary: A group of Chicago cops are involved in a raid from which $3,000,000 disappears. The local mob go after them and the body count starts to rise...

Good cast and an unexpected, eleventh-hour snap of the tail enliven this otherwise standard kill-or-be-killed actionfest. Plenty of kicks and licks and enough intelligent plotting to furrow a few brows.

A straight ahead, in your face, asskicking action movie. Not your typical martial arts movie, it's more of a cop movie with some good fight scenes. Kind of like The Transporter in a way.
