Nothing beats this movie for me. The story enraptured me from the start of the movie. The color and imagery in the film are beautiful. Excellent performances by some of the best men and women in the industry. Timeless beauty... I could watch this over and over. Much respect for an excellent director who happens to be a Black woman, Kasi Lemmons.

Fantastic movie that never got the notice it deserved. Devestating examination of the effects of philandering on a family. The entire cast is fabulous, but Debbi Morgan in particular proves that soap opera actors sometimes get a bad rap. Highly recommended.
