I don't normally watch film documenter's like this however I am such a large Bond fan I felt compelled to watch this and I am very glad I did extremely interesting fact after fact. This is more gripping and easy to watch then a large amount of films I have watched in the past. Top marks.

To commemorate the James Bond series for 50 years of success, Steven Riley writes and directs the documentary Everything or Nothing. This movie captures how the character transitioned from spy novels by Ian Fleming, to 50 years later movies being made. Behind the scenes the movies goes into the personal relationships between the two main producers of the series Albert R. Broccoli and Harry Saltzman and the troubles they had getting the series going against all odds. This was an excellent documentary that really shows how difficult it is to keep and capture an audiences love for such a long period of time, given all the external pressures and legal entanglements that this series encountered. The film also features interviews from the former bonds, producers and does a good job captivating the franchise in its entirety.

For anyone with even a passing interest in James Bond, it's an essential watch.

Like a 007 adventure it boasts a great first act then soon settles into a routine formula with questionable treatment of certain individuals.

Excellent documentary detailing the Bond story, right through from Ian Fleming's creation to the present, using interviews with the Bond actors themselves and families and friends of the EON founders, Cubby Broccoli and Harry Salzman. EON is of course short for Everything or Nothing, the title of this documentary. All the Bond actors seem to have given "modern" (recent) interviews, except Sean Connery, whose love-hate relationship with the filmic icon he so helped to create means he is only present in archive interviews, which are themselves quite revealing, although not as personal as the contributions of the other Bonds.
