Perhaps their only flaw is the prologue, in which they hastily condense the events of the series and movies. The best comes almost immediately, with epic and dramatic battle sequences, and a story of maturity, love and redemption that is in its right place. A perfect closure for the circle.

This last film of its modern tetralogy was specially made for saying goodbye to all people who've been fond of this anime franchise for 25 years (since 1995). This last film of its modern tetralogy was specially made for saying goodbye to all people who've been fond of this anime franchise for 25 years (since 1995). It took this theatrical anime 8 years of making, and I would love to say: it's more than worth! This anime film had everything that all film/animation students could definitely learn and enjoy with, such as visually stunning 2D animation, unpredictable camera angles, great soundtrack, well-done sound mixing & sound editing, well-crafted storytelling, top-notch film editing and great voice actings. Of course, this film actually had left few flaws on itself such as overusing 3D-CGI and listless fight scenes, but those flaws weren't the main points of this film tho.

Un gran final, para la esta saga que comenzó en el 95. Unos aspectos visuales increíbles y desarrollo de personaje bien organizado, resolviendo detalles de las anteriores 3 películas, sin terminar de contradecir a la serie original y a las películas originales.

Masterpiece, I can only say this word in describing this face after 26 years and the end of the journey. I really feel empty and sad and I say to myself, can a work like Evanglion be made anymore? I can say no because it has a special effect and deep meanings that many may not realize and understand. Evangelion captures space and time and tells a crazy story to the audience.

Evangelion 3.0 + 1.01: Thrice Upon a Time is so bewilderingly maximalist in its ambitions, so conflicted in its heart, so dense and idiosyncratic from its title on down that it’s hard to know where to even begin gauging one’s own reaction to it except by probing inward.
