A Florida real estate developer and her captain lure investors to a property in the Everglades called Dreamland Shores, under false pretenses that the swampland will soon be developed. If you like giant killer ant movies (and I think you do) then you'll love it.

Joan Collins AND Giant Ants!?! I must be dreaming! Pinch me somebody pinch me! Ah, this is what movie geek dreams are made of.

The human's fright is seen as play acting, and the account of their progress over a gory trail is slow and repetitive. And, aside from some multifaceted ant's-eye views of humans, the special effects are artificial and unexciting.

This is the only movie ever filmed in my hometown. If you lived in Ft. Pierce you would understand theres not much to use here. There isn't a good actor for miles. Empire of the Ants was very good considering the resources that were available. Here, we simply use miniatures and green-screens. CGI isnt exactly available to those without alot of money.

A very bad movie for numerous reasons that never goes far enough into so-bad-it's-good territory. 23/100
