I'm very tempted to say that the humour is very 'Norwegian'. But then again, what makes Norwegian so different from other nationalities then? It got universal appeal, but that doesn't mean that it's not deep. The characterisation is very good, and it is based on two brilliant books by Ingvar Ambjørnsen.

This is an awesome movie. It's completely worth it just for the somersault, but it's full of great moments. Brilliant screenplay. Fantastic character development.

A beautiful story of friendship and love. A Norwegian film, this is the type of story and honesty you will almost never see coming out of Hollywood.

This movie is hilarious, though not in the obvious kind of way. It is amazing in the same way as Amélie. I'd like too more those kind of movies. To me, this is a must-see movie.
