When his experiments into a powerful new anesthetic go hideously awry, respected physician Dr. Jekyll transforms into the hideous Jack Hyde. I love Perkins, but this movie was really average. It could have been so much better.

Although it was interesting to see a movie where Mr. Hyde of Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde is actually Jack the Ripper, this movie isn't as visually exciting as the story needs to be. Not enough blood and gore for me. Plus, Perkins was the only good actor in the movie. I did like the ending, though, but the rest of the movie needs more excitement.

No one does a better psycho than the original Psycho, Anthony Perkins. Too bad his acting is the only really great thing about the movie.

You'd think it'd be fun to watch crazy Anthony Perkins. But in this case you'd be wrong.
