It's so bad it's good and yet, at the same, just really good. Seen it too many times though.

It's got wires; naked ninja babes; a 15ft ninja; exploding ninja's; ninja's on kites; fighting monks; bomb loads of hacked limbs and it contains as much blood as Kill Bill. Perfect then. The movie so beautifully captures the visual artistry associated with the high-flying martial arts films of the early 1990's that you can hardly believe it was filmed nearly a decade before (1982). In fact, i had to check on the Internet just to make sure, twice!! This is Ching Siu-Tung's first film as director as well. You guy who brought you Hero and House of flying Daggers.

The trailer made this look awesome. Sadly, the actual movie proved to be anything but. I was expecting another "Legend of the Swordsman," or "The Heroic Trio." Instead, I got a film that was way too into the story, when the story itself was paper-thin. Yeah, the last 20 minutes or so were pretty crazy, but that wasn't enough to make up for the other hour of tedium. "Duel to the Death" isn't a terrible kung fu flick, but it's far from a good one.

Best ninja movie of all time... You have flying ninjas, sand ninjas, exploding ninjas, tree ninjas, monkey ninjas, giant ninjas, kite ninjas, naked female ninjas and so on. Even if you don't like ninjas (and shame on you), this movie hosts some of the best sword play I've ever seen.
