Goldberger makes the most of his eclectic, multi-Oscar-nominated cast to make up for the lack of scope and visual panache, not to mention the sometimes strained machinations of his plot

What did I just waste an hour of my life watching??? I want those minutes back. Don Mckay probably one of the worst films out of 2010 thus far, such a talented cast but such a colossal waste of talent. The characters are boring and uninteresting the script is horrible it make up it's mind what type of story it is a mystery thriller, dark comedy, or indie drama...I have no problem with it being all three but it does not work it just comes of awkward and unsure of it's self. The only saving grace is Melissa Leo who gives a entertaining performance, as the villainess.

Odd and brilliant film that's hard to get out of your head. There are some great things going on here, and it's a crime this masterpiece won't be seen my more people. In the Coen Bros. kitchen; in fact, better than many of the Coen's. Not to be missed....IF YOU CAN FIND IT!

Bleak funny suspense. Man, I hope this gets decent distribution (it's not very promising that its release date is almost a year ago). A new entry in the undervisited Blood Simple genre.

Thomas Haden Church is ideal as a lonely, melancholic man who is trying to give a meaning to his boring life. And possibly the only reason to watch Don McKay.
