Doctored (2012)

The story begins with the AMA's attack on their non-drug providing rivals, the chiropractic profession. Interviews and historical footage expose the AMA's clandestine campaign to eliminate chiropractic services, which culminates in a 15 year legal battle known as the Wilk case. This story, and the following stories of patients seeking or forced into alternative treatments, act as 'a small doorway into a large room'.

This movie shares a message whose time is long overdue to be told. Every citizen of this country needs to see this and discover exactly what system they and their families are subject to, and empower themselves to look beyond what is commonly accepted as 'health' care. This is not just a 'must see', it is a 'must share'. Get the word out!

This movie is excellent!!! It is a pro alternative health documentary but it gives those professions a voice that has often been silenced over the years. This movie demonstrates the need for ALL health professionals to work together for the betterment of American healthcare and patients. Alternative healthcare is not only cheaper but is also in many cases more effective. I suggest everyone see this movie.

AWESOME documentary!! The world needs to WAKE UP to the truth. There IS NO DEBATING the FACT that the USA is the SICKEST first world nation on Earth. There IS NO DEBATING the FACT that the USA takes 75% of the world's pharmaceutical drugs. There IS NO DEBATING the FACT that there is NO PILL, potion, lotion, or spoonful of medicine that can correct a problem CAUSED by a damaged nervous system, poor nutrition, lack of exercise, toxicity, spiritual unrest, or lack of sleep. And there IS NO ARGUING the REALITY that we have been addressing our health from an incredibly irresponsible standpoint through an entirely misguided medical philosophy. If you have not seen this movie - go see it, period. And bring all your friends and your whole family.

I thought this opened some really interesting perspectives up for conversation. Some of it was really surprising. I think it's an important movie for people to see because we're so used to just doing what doctors and drug companies tell us to without thinking about it.
