Dishoom's characters are generic; its action sequences bloated and its promising premise amounting to nothing. The music is average and so are the cameos. A total waste of time.

As an entertainer, Dishoom delivers. If you're good with laughter, not logic, Dishoom is actually too much fun.

The ending suggests a sequel, and perhaps the next movie will feature better writing, less amateurish action, sharper comedy, and a greater reason to exist.

The only redeeming quality of this film is Varun Dhawan and his comic timing that lightens the mood and makes some lines funnier than they would have been otherwise.
