Arun is a reclusive and lonely modern art painter. Shai is an American banker who is on a visit to Mumbai. Munna is a washerboy also living near Arun and Yasmin. The movie is about these four characters from different class of society and how the lives of four characters are intertwined.

Mediocre cinema, different for the sake of being different! Story leaves you wondering why you began watching the movie anyways! Last verdict: Skip it.

This film was well worth the wait! I love how it's a vignette look into the lives of the four main characters - we are almost like voyeurs looking into their lives, and at the end of the movie, we leave them, their stories unresolved (except for one character, of course) but we know they will move on seeking out their love and dreams, just like so many others in Mumbai, everyday. And then, there are the different kinds of love stories they represent: first love, lost love, undying love, tragic love... Very lovely direction by Kiran, Mumbai was transformed into a city of dreams and love, nothing lesser than New York, London, Paris and the likes.

Comes across as a story about nothing much to begin with, but keeps peeling the human psyche like an onion as it goes along - and long after it has ended. Great moviemaking.

One of the good hindi movies I have seen in recent years. Not too much of drama... not too much of emotions... but still the plot was very well told! Prateik and Monica's acting were better than Aamir in this movie (thats only my personal opinion...) And that is a good start from Kiran Rao.
