08/08/2010 (ONLINE) Such dreadful children! But why do I like them?? If you were to hook "The Little Rascals" up with the "Orphan", you would end up with this lot. In a weird way I enjoyed the way they were still being kids among themselves but what I could see is that innocence fused with darkness is not entirely wicked when you think you are the good guys. It's quite an awful thought but it is a suitable plot for this flavor on interest. I wonder if there is a sequel? I would definitely check it out.

The central conceit of this horror film is that five young psychopathic kids can kill off a group of seven adults. Given its absurdity it takes the edge off quite a bit. The fact that the film is SLOWLY paced and that the adults are defined entirely by their "types" (alcoholic wife and her henpecked husband; sexually frustrated wife and her workaholic materialistic husband; good-earthed good-looking blond boyfriend and girlfriend; Lennie Small-type guy) makes the film even less compelling and more of a chore to get through. It just felt awfully tired and worn and gimmicky.

Bizarre little movie about a group of kids knocking off a houseful of unattractive adults in the mountains. Its fun to watch at moments, but most of the time its tedious. The best thing about this movie would have to be Shelley Morrison, or as we all know her, Rosario from Will and Grace. She plays a drunk very well, and her death scene is ridiculous. Oh and there's also a random catfight early on in the movie between two women fighting over one of the ugliest men I've ever seen.
