Devil Hunter (1980)

The lovely Laura, on a modelling job in South Africa, is kidnapped by a gang who carry her off into the jungle from where they demand a huge ransom. Two men set off in a helicopter to rescue her, little knowing what horrors Laura is enduring in the meantime in the savage clutches of a primitive and bloodthristy world. Laura's rescuers not only have to face the cruel violence of her captors - but also the horrifying lust for blood of a primitive and cruel god.

Another insanely unapologetic exploitation flick. A naked black man with ping pong balls in his eyes wrestles to the death. At the very least, it's something I've never seen before. 'Uncle' Jess Franco is the king of perversity and Devil Hunter is no exception. The lead star is a Playmate of the Year and Franco doesn't waste any time showing off her assets. The film is unbelievably ridiculous with tons of nudity and absurd dialogue. From a certain point of view, it's a total comedy.

I was expecting it to be crap and it was, and I relished in every aspect of its absolutely shiteness. Nudity and voilence just for the sake of it and one of the funniest wrestling scenes committed to celluloid ever...loving those pin-pong ball eyes!

Another Jesus Franco fiasco w/ plenty of zooming & filler of kidnappers searching the jungle for their kidnappie. There is a tribe near by who love munching on womens labias & not in an oral sex way. Gruesome as we get a Franco zoom as the savage chews away. Not much else happens which chalks this up to one big borefest
