The movie depicts 2 possible life paths of a man growing up in the projects - one as an architect, one in the drug trade. Very well done.

Hard to follow the too-ing and fro-ing. I get that Sheed was in a bronze tone and RaSheed was in normal tone, but sometimes it was extremely difficult to keep up and distinguish between the two.

While your brain tries to wrap around that element of the fantasy, Basir flubs his big point about fate, choices and paths — that no matter our lives, we face the chance to change for good or bad — by embracing all the clichés he can find, then filming them without nuance or style.
