Hard to follow the too-ing and fro-ing. I get that Sheed was in a bronze tone and RaSheed was in normal tone, but sometimes it was extremely difficult to keep up and distinguish between the two.

[Destined is] a film as much about showing audiences our similarities beneath nature/nurture as it is the guilt and regret we carry everyday.

This is a powerful indie film that covers so many issues about black America, family values, perception and roles of black men in a gentrified America...Any fans of indie film should give this a watch for powerhouse performances!

While your brain tries to wrap around that element of the fantasy, Basir flubs his big point about fate, choices and paths — that no matter our lives, we face the chance to change for good or bad — by embracing all the clichés he can find, then filming them without nuance or style.

An amusing idea that runs out of steam not long after the premise is established.
