WOW!! I loved this movie!!!!! scenes in sleeping on his stomach, driving a car, introducing himself in 10 mins, that was awesome!!! I don't usually like Mandy Moore, but Billy Crudup did really a GREAT job!!! WOW! 5 star!!!

A brilliant movie with great acting from all the cast. The story and the way it was shot made for perfect viewing.

Far from a perfect movie, I agree with a lot of the criticism that critics are tossing at this flick, but overall I don't think its inability to find its tone and its tendency toward the formulaic really take away that much from the film. In fact, it's inability to settle into a tone, mood or visual style actually merely mimic structurally the main character's inability to settle into one specific static character-type. And anyways, even if you find some of the directing annoying, one can't not appreciate the fantastic performances from Billy Crudup, Mandy Moore, Tom Wilkinson, Bob Balaban and Dianne Wiest.

Light-hearted, touching, funny movie that made me smile. It's not easy to stand out of the romance but this film succeed. Billy Crudup was so brilliant to act as a so-called abnormal guy. Mandy Moore's performance also deserved our compliment. I just particularly loved the dialogues and the anomaly, which did not annoy me surprisingly, of Billy Crudup in the movie.
