Highly enjoyable and not just for the scene with the deckchair flying through the air.

There is a reason why I am a huge fan of british films and that is their clever portrayal of life!

Up there with those other Aussie classics, Strictly Ballroom and The Castle. It even works without the lead actor being an Aussie. Mirando Otto is gorgeous and Justine Clarke does some excellent work in support.

So cute! A touching little film about getting out of ruts and finding what you really want in life. Funny, sweet, and clever. Highly recommended!

Okay, this movie got a lot of meh reviews from the critics. But so what if it's not original? It's brilliantly acted, has characters that you really care about, and is really funny in a subtle (and sometimes not-so-subtle) way. Besides, that scene at the end when he gets his parachute caught in her motorbike is just plain iconic.
