My favourite Joan Crawford's performance (for now), I had the opportunity to see a fluent, spontaneously and a very fresh Joan in a very well written story with the result of an advance picture for its time! If you want to enjoy an interesting and entertain relationships story, highly recommended!

Now that's a film, honeybunch. Fonda is out of place like Crawford was out of place in Our Dancing Daughters. That is to say, in a brilliant, gender ahead of one's time kind of way.

What to call this? Not really a Noir as it's billed on the DVD, more of a love triangle womans picture. Still a good movie though, with both Andrews and Fonda putting in scene stealing performances.
