Ken loves to design and build exotic cars. When the High School shop class project car, a fully tricked out dream Corvette, is stolen, he begins searching for it. His search leads him to Las Vegas, where Vanessa, a teenaged prostitute wannabe, helps him try to track it down.

This movie has a place in my heart simply because it was a favourite when I was a kid.

Corvette Summer is a disappointing film. It is about a high school grad and a hooker-in-training who try to track down his stolen Corvette. Mark Hamill and Annie Potts give terrible performances. The script is badly written. Matthew Robbins did a horrible job directing this movie. I was not impressed with this motion picture.

Maybe one of the most underrated and unseen coming-of-age films of the 1970s! Starring none other than Mark Hamill himself, CORVETTE SUMMER is a corny and surprisingly charming gem that is both fun and re-watchable. Apart from some minor blatant editing and story flow issues, the film is really a ball of fun and an unsung classic! When it hits cult status, remember who told you!
