FINALLY! Ian Curtis' tragic story. If you love Joy Division it's a must see!!

Whoa.... Control is black and white with so many shades of grey.... What else can i say? The personal life of Ian Curtis is on OCD proportions here. He's a genius but he's a normal guy...

ever since i was a kid i was haunted by ian curtis. i think this film, when i watched it about a year ago or so, was the most despairing film. but it put closure in a way to something inside me. and it made me cry like a baby... if you're a fan, or if you weren't before this, it's shot in fantastic black and white by the brilliant anton corbijn who did a phenomenal job. the actor playing ian was amazing and samantha morton did a fantastic job. a must see.

If you like Joy Division, definitely check this one out. Raw & heartbreaking, but not worth missing! Apparently the story was inspired by his wife's memoir, and it made me wonder how the story would have been told from Ian or Annik's point of view...
