Comet (2014)

When a chance encounter brings together the cynical Dell and the quick-witted Kimberly, the stage is set for a tempestuous love affair that unfolds like a puzzle. The visions (a meteor shower, Paris) are romantic and lovely, and there’s a sense of commitment to the enterprise that pretty much overcomes the near bathos and proves involving.

Loved the soundtrack, some visuals were really nice, but throughout the movie i couldn't help but think that kimberly was completely insane, our has about 4 personalities working in parallel, as the storyline goes forward and backwards she doesn't seem to be the same person at all!

Sam Esmail’s fractured romance is beautifully shot and creatively structured, but he never gives us a single reason to root for his mismatched couple.

Another film that came out of nowhere. I found the whole parallel universe angle very interesting and it was a good romantic movie in its own right with a more than realistic ending which is refreshing. Definitely makes you think.

Phenomenal writing, direction, acting and editing. Very realistic dialogue. Way too clever for society overall to appreciate.
