The acting's decent but the plot's terrible. And comedy? Seriously? The guy almost gets raped. That's not funny. And the stereotyping of religious people became the entire focus of the 2nd half of the movie. It wasn't funny, and it really wasn't fair.

I saw this movie at Outfest's opening night in Los Angeles. I'm a fan of writer David Sedaris bittersweet observations about life and this work is no exception. A beautifully directed, well acted piece about a young man trying to find his place in life.
