same old shit guy meets girl n falls for her n they end up together.....similar story to love ajj kal

Not sure what to expect from this movie, I could tell it would be a very urban film. Was thinking it might be similar to one of Saif Ali Khan`s previous produced films such `Love Aaj Kal`. No, it is not, it is much better. The film is a tale of two halves. Similar to the 1997 film `Ishq`. The first half was hilarious beyond belief. Saif Ali Khan`s comic timing is incredible and that is an understatement. Every time he come on the screen you were expecting a plethora of entertainment. Deepika Padukone plays her character to the tee with perfection, just a naturally gifted actress. Newcomer, Diana Penty portrays a convincing role as the shy traditional conservative girl. Boman Irani and Dimple Kapadia in their short supprting roles was dynamite entertainment. The second half was a little bit of a shocker to the system due to the sudden tone of being a very serious film. I think the change could have been more gradual, rather then being too sudden. Overall, a decent film. However, I feel this film could have been much better though but a commendable effort.

Coctail is a movie about friendship, love and everything that comes with it, jealousy, selfishness, fun, emotions and drama. i think cocktail was one of the best movies of 2012 and the best romantic-comedy out of Bollywood so far. yes the story is a bit clichÃ (C)d but the director has made each scene so fabulously that you will feel you are actually there. The two drawback in the movie are firstly, Saif Ali Khan doesn't suit in the role of an 32 year old - Gautam just doesn't suit him and secondly the climax was so predictable. my favourite and most depressing scene in Cocktail was when Deepika (who did a marvelous job) was in the club totally devastated by her best friend's and boy friend's betrayal. Overall i loved Cocktail - My favourite movie of the year!!
