Followed its source material well in a little way of alterations as it was well put together, as well the mystery pieces were. (B+) (Full review coming soon - with better wording)

City of Ember is simply a superb family film of the type we rarely see any more. If you're looking for a family film with excellent performances, an intriguing world and dash more intelligence than your average kid flick look no further.

I remember reading this book as a kid and LOVING it. The movie was surprisingly suspenseful and I gotta give props to Saoirse Ronan, one of my girl crushes.

This film is one of the best i have ever seen! This includes the actors/actresses, the music, the effects, the cinematography, EVERYTHING! It truly is a shame not a lot of people saw it back then.
