Chinese Zodiac (2012)

Asian Hawk leads a mercenary team to recover several lost artifacts from the Old Summer Palace, the bronze heads of the twelve Chinese Zodiac animals which were sacked by the French and British armies from the imperial Summer Palace in Beijing in 1860. Assisted by a Chinese student and a Parisian woman, Hawk stops at nothing to accomplish the mission.

I just finished it. I have got to say that I thoroughly enjoyed Jackie Chan last hoorah through big budget films. Whatever that means. When i read other people reviews, mostly the really negative one's I seem to disagree. Though yes it is much of the same from Jackie, it still was a fun thing to watch, and I really got a big kick at seeing a nearly 60 year old Jackie doing these stunts. The little nods to the past two films were very, very minimal, but when they appeared I was giddy with so much joy and I didn't even really know why. I have to say when they did add CGI, near the end, I was a little disappointed about how fake it looked. Oh, btw, watch the other 2 Armour of God films, Armour of God and Armour of God 2: Operation Condor, before this one. I've only watched the first one and I only found it to be okay, but hey lots of other people cite it to be their favorite Jackie Chan film. Same thing with the second movie. Which i will be watching soon.

Just confusing. Killed a couple of hours, a mixture of Several films, Indiana Jones meets Mission Impossible meets The Hudson Hawk. Bruce Willis and Harrison Ford and Tom Cruise did it better. Still Jackie does does fight scenes well. Of course the out takes are always get a laugh.

Simply entertaining and wonderful. Funny and action-packed. I love it. I love the theme, the characters and the fairytale ending. I'm sucker when it comes to this kinds of film. And I just love Jackie Chan. Man, the moves! It's my dream! Parkour and taekwondo! Zhang Lanxin and Kwon Sang-woo! :))
