As good as the visuals are, other documentaries have already done this multiple times & implemented it even better. It's just not as effective or empowering as Planet Earth, Blue Planet or even Cosmos...

You walk out of Chasing Coral feeling that Richard Vevers is correct: The more that people see, and understand, the death of our coral, the more they’ll realize that climate change isn’t just about wrecking the planet, it’s about humanity destroying itself.

Very interesting, easy to digest documentary about the Great Coral Reef, other coral reefs and marine biologists trying to capture the evidence of the degradation of the ecosystem's sea life. Great visuals and statistics to put things into a broader perspective.

While it does pay beyond fair deference to the science behind coral reefs and their devastation, its real strength lies within the pathos generated by the visuals that showcase the exact nature of their precarious state.
