The story of Charlie Richardson is told in flashbacks throughout the infamous torture trial. Luke Goss is terribly cast in the lead and it goes down the predictable route with an annoying voice over and throws in all the usual clichÃ©s.

Moderate to decent. Not as intriguing or involved as "Snatch" but paced better than "Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels." There's a number of other movies I'd recommend seeing before this one, however, if you stumble upon it in the vidstore I don't think you'll be mad you spent the rental fee. Keep in mind that it is painfully brutal in the violence; for the amount of brutal violence, I did expect a bit more gratuitious nudity. Perhaps I was just hoping. All in all, in line with expectations. It's difficult to find a really good movie anymore; it seems as though I've seen most of the "modern classics." [k]
