Don't expect much from this movie. It's a fun, funny movie, nothing more. Felicity Jones is good, not "Like Crazy" good but she was able to play the adorable poor girl really well. The other acting is good, but nothing special as is the writing and direction. The only thing I didn't like were the cheesy snowboarding scenes, but they were to be expected. In all lots of laughs and really fun movie. 7.

splendid the movie should have been called Snowboard Girl but then again it prolly wouldnt have sounded as good again another overly-cliche storyline is told with high energy and some good laughs the locales are stunning, the acting isnt too shabby, plus you got some fun cameos from Bill Nighy to Brooke Shields they serve no real purpose though but just to support the main actress Felicity Jones really struts her stuff here and is quite radiant at the same time such a positive energy really lifts up the confidence boost and the soundtrack really won me over, too no need to skip this one because its a British comedy that will warm your heart and appeal to snowboarders and non-snowboarders alike without being so pretentious no just for girls too ya know

Not bad. I like Jones a lot, which is why I saw this, and the snowboarding angle was great too (always wanted to try it). The relationship Kim has with her father is sweet. Some of the jokes are funny, some are pretty awful. The romance here feels like a last minute tag on to the awesome sports, which is great, as the sports are of more interest to me, and the romance wasn't too believable I felt. Who wouldn't want to be both a skateboarding and snowboarding champion. Yes,the plot didn't hold many suprises, but it was enjoyable enough I felt.

Some hilarious moments coupled with some cliched - can see them coming from a mile away - moments. You'll know going in if you're going to like it - I did!
