Slapstick, comedy, and a young Jodie Foster. Add a dash of "Greensleeves" and come up with a fun family film. One of my favorite live-action Disney movies.

Hahahahahah, oh the memories. This film is one of those ones that you'd do well not to watch again when you pass the age of maybe 8-9. I remember watching this film on nana's beta machine. I still have a copy and really enjoy watching it but I think that's just part of my filthy nature.

David Niven, Helen Hayes, and Jodie Foster do wonderful performances in this slap-stick treasure hunt. An old Disney favorite, Candleshoe is not only a movie with great heart, but a movie with great excitement. A Disney family classic.

Candleshoe almost plays like National Treasure crossed with Anastasia. It isn't too fast or noisy, and there is some childish fun to be had, but this is strictly for kiddies. Put it on if you need to sedate some 9-12 year olds for 100 minutes or you're on a Jodie Foster binge.

Candleshoe, is an unforgettable Disney classic from my childhood, with a likable cast, just like the screenplay that bring inspiration of pirates and modern thiefs. Great comedy to all family and lovers of this classic, the only problem of Candleshoe it's the romantic vision of upper class. Fresh.
