Morris "Mud" Himmel has a problem. His parents desperately want to send him away to summer camp. He hates going to summer camp, and would do anything to get out of it. Talking to his friends, he realizes that they are all facing the same sentence: a boring summer camp. Together with his friends, he hatches a plan to trick all the parents into sending them to a camp of their own design.

Oh man, the Wigwam car wash scene still makes me laugh milk out of my eyes. Kids and anarchy make one punk rock sitcom summer film. Down with parents!

One of the most entertaining movies I had ever seen Christopher Lloyd in since Back to the Future. Such a theatrical person and gifted in so many ways. The plot of the movie a slightly weak with kids who want to have their own cam to goof off in, and then realize the value of growing up.
