Camp Hell (2010)

At the end of every summer, the children of a Christian community from a suburb of New Jersey attend Camp Hope. They travel deep into the woods far from any distractions the world provides. Here, the children are taught the ways of the Lord, the perils of the flesh, and the horror of the Devil. A charismatic priest leads them in their training. But, he unknowingly has brought something with him, something evil. What was supposed to be a safe place, a spiritual retreat has now turned into a nightmare that not even faith can end.

A very odd horror movie based on a true story of a community church group. The story seemed very disjointed and focused too much on the stereo types. All the acting seemed good in parts, some characters felt two 1d. The ending was a let down.

I would only recommend this to people with patience and the desire to see religious nutters freaking out about masturbation. It can be taken as a dramatic comedy if you are being generous. With demonic hisses of "I h-ate y-ou!" - if you don't take it as comedy you will be very disappointed.

If you want to see this movie because you love Dana Delany or Jesse Eisenberg don't bother. Jesse and Dana have about five minutes of play time each. Very disappointing and not worth the buck I paid Red Box to rent this movie.

The grounded approach and honest performances are provocative and unsettling. As is the fact that it's based on a true story.

This movie was awful. Looked like it was made years ago and had a awful script and terrible acting. The plot went no where and made no sense.
