Yikes. Wasn't expecting much. This one delivers on that score. Dumb plot and lots of wire flying action.

Confusing as all hell but awesome visually. Good eye candy. Thankfully Chinese stories are getting easier to follow.

Killer Clans underworld is relatively less popular than other, more heroic oriented settings in the "martial arts world"; the mix between crazy action and family business reminds me of the later Reign of Assassin, and it's interesting per se... Throw in a rich smorgasboard of inventive fatalities and you'll understand why I love so much HK filmography.

A bit slow and sometimes boring. But the action scenes are great (though the football kicks are laughable), Michelle Yeoh is gorgeous and Tony Leung is cute.

Corny and well OTT fantasy martial arts film, one for buffs only really as it is great to see the wonderful Michelle Yeoh, Donnie Yen and a very young Tony Leung and Joey Wong. This one has more gore than usual and is said to have inspired the Kill Bill films, exploding heads, bodies cut to ribbons, severed limbs and even a face removed, plenty of gushing blood but it does have some humour and a love story mixed in. Story is confusing and does end abruptly, it is said that they removed the last five minutes as it was too gory?
