Liz Taylor is glamorous. It's Laurence Harvey that should be knocked down instead of her. But the whole story couldn't make me care less.

A decent way to kill a lazy Sunday afternoon, perhaps, but I can't say this is really my cup of tea. It all seems so melodramatic and silly at times, but that's the style, and the period. You never really get the sense that Gloria is THAT slutty though she declares herself "the slut of all time". And if she IS that slutty, well, it becomes hard to believe that a week could change her (or Laurence Harvey) that much. And the end? Don't get me started. If you like Elizabeth Taylor I'm sure you'll enjoy this film.

Surprisingly dull, considering how well-known this is. Just seems to drift along for nearly two hours. On the plus side, Elizabeth Taylor is gorgeous and puts in a good performance in the lead role. She won her first Oscar for her performance, after three previous nominations.

A most moving acting job by an excellent, one of a kind actress. Elizabeth was/is a true diva of all times.
